and before anyone says, i know, it needs to be lower. about an inch would be perfect i think

    so does it work?

    Bad:
    1. They're borbet C's and they're rank wheels
    2. stretch for the sake of stretch is gay.
    3. Those tires are so horrible streching and look like ballons.

    Good:
    1. width/et look alright.

    Other:
    What is your car?

    BUT IT DOESN'T REQUIRE A NEW THREAD/rant.

      1. borbet t's - i like them, maybe not for everybody
      2. plan is roll the front, roll and pull the back, and then stiffer and lower. which should then tuck the wheels just on the stretch
      3. no comment lol

      it's a calibra

sorry for the new thread, i thought the others weren't really a good start.....

well up for criticism/suggestions..... or an argument lol

i agree it looks rather out of place now but it's only the first step, it *should* fit together nicely when all done (i hope)

I've always been suspension before wheels kinda guy, see too many people running high with box stickers at 45' angles and ebay S.W stickers..
I'll wait to pass more judgment.

About 2" would be perfect lol gonna need to be very low to pull those off.

yeah i realised since they went on, gaz do full coilovers if i turret the rear but i seriously doubt i could run that low daily. still its all a bit trial and error and this only the 1st step.

Always drop before rims for me too, but theyll work once you get the thing on the floor.

i think this will look okay if you get it sitting right and dont worry about the tyres they look better than my 175 70 over a 9j wheel lol

                        175 / 70? bonkers lol.

i would absolutely love air but funds just say no at the moment, so research is all i can do. at the moment i'm trying to find another car i could use as a donor for rear coilovers, and butcher for some diy fronts.
