              A little restoration work & it'll be looking fresh-er.

hey thanks for the welcome guys. and i know it could be alot cleaner the motor is going in it so the main priority is getting another motor in it, then both front fenders and pass door need to be replaced. then paint and some different wheels. this forum is awesome i spent some time looking around you guys have some pretty nice cars.

Nice! I had an '88 Jetta Auto (3 spd.) for a winter beater. It was a tank. Body wasn't in good enough shape to fix up though so I scrapped it. It's definitely a build I want to complete one day.

haha actually it doesnt rub that bad, just a little.

and over all i have about 1200 into the car as a whole. closer to 1800 once the other motor is in which should be today. nothing fancy just a higher compression 1.8l. did timing belt, water pump, upgraded to .:R32 rear control arm bushings, raceland coilovers, some different tires, heavy duty strut tops, GLI rear lip spoiler, and thats about it i think. its a wolfsburg edition so no rust here only rust is on the pass side fender due to it being hit by the previous owner.
