  • Probably an obvious question but..

If i was to run shorter springs (cut/custom length whatever) and they where shorter than the overall travel of the suspension (such as when its off the ground) what would be done to simply stop the spring becoming dislodged from the mounts?
My falcon uses the same front end as the similar era mustangs (1970) so its a pretty simple setup. Would i need to run shorter shocks to reduce travel or??

    for reference

shorter shocks if possible. you could use a chain to limit droop travel.

in my 67 mustang i have 2 in drop springs with a half coil cut off witch lowers the car 3in plus the drop of the Shelby drop and my springs font even come close to falling out.
