  • Stepped Lip vs. Flat Lip

Some people like flat and some like stepped. A lot of wheels these days are coming with the option of either. What do you prefer and lets see why. Lets see some wheels that are the same where one has stepped lip and one has a flat lip.

I personally think either can look good and it all depends on the wheel.

stepped lips are stronger and take more abuse, see in the picture that i have posted

that wheels in the rear are stepped and polished, theres my evidence and my conclusion is so Optimus Prime can defeat them deceiving Decipticons! LOLLMAO

I'm a stepped lip fan myself. However, flat lips can look good too, all depends on the overall setup.

i currently have bbs with flat 3" lips, but am selling them and getting built kranson forged klassics with much larger stepped lips because they look so much more aggressive.

I cant exactly put my finger on why but I just prefer them over flats.
