    Before Gary's M5 returned to his possession, we had one last thing lined up for it.

    In preparation for its eventual velocity stack addition, we deleted the MAF sensors and relocated his IAT sensor. Since the intake pipes looked awfully weird without the MAFs plugged in, we went about fabricating him a replacement set of pipes out of aluminum. We cut the airbox end of the intake out on the mill, so the connection is 100% stock at the airbox, and the routing is essentially the same, as well. We'd like to think it's a good addition to the engine, at least until the stacks are ready. Take a look:
