need to get tyres for my 16x9s - contenders are ns2s, 912s or t1rs (bit out of budget but...)

pretty sure on a 205/45 - think a 205/40 will be too small in the arches

    anyone stretched these?

    heeeeeelp

Not the Toyos, The NS2s have a slimmer sidewall than the FK452s, but the grip is shocking in comparision, most obviously in the wet. I know nothing of the 912s.

nice one - cant seem to find 452s in those sizes online (looking on the falken site it looks like they start at 205/50?) - the net isn't proving to be much help, just as many ppl say the 912 stretch well as saying rubbish!

      nankangs that bad then?

I've never had a 16" wheel so can't help, I had 205/40/17s on the back of mine. In terms of wet grip yeah, they are shocking, but asthetically, they give you 5mm more clearance than the 452s.

I've got 195/40/17 Falken ZE912 all round on my 7.5's.
They've stretched well, and are pretty good in the wet from what i've seen so far.

Road noise is really quiet too which is pretty surprising.
For the price, they're really good IMO.

Not sure how the 205's would be on the 9's though mate.

t1r's are SHOCKING in the wet, even more so when stretched.

any pics of your 912s in profile? im interested in how they look when stretched - ive test fitted a mich 205/50 and it's just too balloon, right width etc but i need something that pulls in nicer for when the car goes lower.

maybe scratch the ns2 then - i did wonder as they seem to look good and be too cheap - got to be a catch.

would like a little camber on the front but the main reason for swapping tyres is i dont like the look of how those michs stretch

Knew i had a better one somewhere:

                      Tops the NEXAN N3000 205 40 16 on a 9j
                      Bottoms a T1R 195 45 15 also on a 9j

much appreciated - its pretty hard gettin pics of specific tyres it seems!

at the mo its between the 912s and ns2s - the ns2 seem to look nicer but not sure its worth the trade off for the loss in performance - altho i wont run the wheels after the salt comes out and its a steady daily (even steadier once lowered)

love that pic in your sig btw
