OMG I wish I had an extra $400 I'd get these and run these they look SOOOO good. I'd be willing to bet the offsets are around 30 ish. I looked all over google and couldn't find the offsets. But you could run these no problems throw a 215/45 on the 9.5 and a 205/45 on the 8.5's (if they are 8.5 and 9.5's).

PLEASE buy these thats a good deal and they'd look amazing (they look just like futuras).

SeanDub

Corvettes offsets are up in the 50's, I'm sure these aren't too far off

Dubmd

Judging by the same tire size all the way around (275/40/17), they most likely are 17x9.5 all the way around. A common ET for OEM/factory fitment 9.5's all around is 9.5 ET56.

Those are made by OZ for Fittipaldi. The full name is Fittipaldi Fittistars.

Damn, I saw those and was, "those would look hawt on my car!" What are you doing with the centers? Painting them any crazy colors? You are sure to set the E46 crowd off now haha. I still want your style 5s haha.

Dubmd
10-21-2009, 11:20 PM

if theyre 9.5's i dont think 205/40's will work it was a pain in the ass for me just to get the 215/40's on my ride

in other news im gonna be selling my adapters soon so shoot me a pm if your intrested

im almost certain these are either gonna be +56 or +53 offset

Dubmd
10-21-2009, 11:27 PM
haha i just sent you a pm lol
what kind of adapters are they?

Oscar
10-21-2009, 11:34 PM
The Ebay link says they're 10's so yeah 205 is a pretty crazy stretch. 215's are doable, that's what I would run.

Njdub

I think they might be in the 30s just because the "salad shooter" type of corvette sawblades are et36 or something and they come off the late 80s vettes. These are off an 88 vette so I'd think these would be the same. (a friend has a set of shooters and they are et36 on a 9.5 all around).

You mean the one's Balleur has on his e36? Pretty sure he just said somewhere that they are et53....

et 60 17x10, 3-pieces. I think the guy that sold you those wheels didnt know its 3 pieces, not one.

edit: said to be only three sets out there in U.S.A.?

Hmm these wheels are confusing me but no the ones off his are different.

http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h174/jake5642/IMG_5601.jpg
I was talking about those which are et38 because he has 9.5's all around.

Offsets got changed up after 1988 for corvettes before then they were 20-30s after they were 50-60s.

That sale seems weird though because the wheels on vortex look different from the ebay ones. We'll see I guess.

Well, damn, if there are only 3 sets in the US, then that's pretty sick, that you scored these Dub.

These are on a local craigslist ad. I assume they're the same wheels.

This is the description he provided.
THESE ARE REALLY NICE 17" 2-PIECE WHEELS.
WHICH MAY ALSO FIT ON CHEVELLE, NOVA, TRANS-AM, AND CAMARO.

Pretty sure I'm going to pick these up soon. I skimmed over this thread, any problems of these fitting an e36? I emailed the guy for specs but he hasn't responded yet.

The center looks like Gotti J55 but they came only in 15" & 16", those have 20 bolts and 3 marks on the center, the gottis have 16 or 32 bolts and 2 marks on the center. Maybe they're Etoile or ARE.....

Not good. 17x8 et0 or et5 was good for my fronts. I don't know about 10" wide, but my 9.5's are et20

my equips were made for a c4 vette and they are 17x9.5 et49. I'm running a 15mm front spacer and a 12mm rear with 255/40/17 square. With 215s you should be able to poke some more and not rub at all.

:rofl at ppl thinking you were selling the fitti's..

We have some work to be done to get these on there. I think once I roll and pull the fronts and shave the rear we should be in the right range. We should be trying to stretch a 215 on there, but we gotta work with a budget, so it may take a min. First things first, and that's to address the need for some 25mm spacers.

I'm gonna try to get him sorted before IFO
