bought this A4 20vT for cheaps to daily, mega miles no history, blew it up within a fortnight........oil looked good but ripping the engine to bits revealed heavy sludge build up which chewed it out, ditched it in my sisters driveway and left it for over a year and a half due to working on my coupe and running my golf as a daily instead

found these lying in a shop and thought RUF as i could only see the top of the wheel, walked round and they were 6 spokes but still loved them so figuring theyd go well on the audi I decided to fix it

thinking about keeping it RUF themed I got them done satin black

had to give the tyres a skiff as I wanted the faces flush but still wanted to run 215/35 and 225/40(wheels are 8.5 and 9.5x18)

    done work,really was pretty messy

    smoothed bits

    powdered bits

    second hand cheap coils

    growth

    timber

    choppage

    paintage

nasty coiled out lows to check drop

    busted

    new engine fitted

    more painting

    new brakes all round

nasty side exit to get me to the exhaust place

    washed for the journey

    grills all fitted

full 2.5,no centre box for clearance

    satin tails

    old

    new

    shitty wooden trim

    matching

    engine bits in

    fitted the all reds

got a loan of a set of wheels to go to a show, had a fiddle with a tape measure and leveled it out and sorted out the height in general

1000 mile round trip to the show and back loaded with parts didnt go down well for the exhaust

finally got the wrinkle powder in so pulled the tyres off and got them recoated

and thats where its sitting just now, waiting on adaptors for the black wheels(custom with flush specific spacing),broken exhaust, and in need of several cv gaitors due to the lay up then massive abuse

that was a pretty condensed 'get folks up to date' im waiting on a friend of a friend turning up the custom adaptors, the 'ruf' wheels are actually BIM creative auto salon ZIET's and are off a supra so are M12 5x114.3 which I could have drilled out for M14's but they'd still need bolt to hub spacers and wobble bolts so im just going to wait on the adaptors coming, its currently lying like a shot pigeon with 3 burst gaitors and a broken exhaust which is more a priority as the work van is proper death.Ive got options wheel wise other than the BIM's but the whole reason for the build was those wheels so im as eager to see them on as you are lol

thanks for all the feedback and hi calvin

pics of the green ones will wait till im working on them or running them as ive nothing to update the threads with
