Has anyone replaced an e46 (airbag) steering wheel with a race wheel? The boss on mine doesn't seem to be right and I can't see how the wires hook up. Have checked over and over and both the steering wheel and the boss kit are correct for my car and eachother.

Also the silver spacer/ring or whatever doesn't seem to fit with the horn button. Is it necessary? Mostly I need help with the wiring. There are 3 sets of wires coming from the steering column end. Two for the airbag and one for the horn. I have 3 wires that came with the boss kit but the connections aren't the same and there's only one airbag override wire...
