hhey i just picked up a 88 325is i was lookin at ksports or d2s any one know if they get low just dont wanna do sleeve or anything like that

I'm not too much help, but D2's / K-Sports are the same thing. From the lil I have seen, they have the capacity to get you low. How much ride quality is sacrificed in the process, I'm unsure.

Give it some time, more e30 owners will chime in.

in that case, id recommend saving up a few more bucks and getting the Ground-Control coilover kit. its about $1500, but will put you low. also, that kit uses high quality parts. Koni Yellows, Eibach springs.

Ksports will get you low, but not "undrivable" like you want. also, for the minimal price difference youd be better off with the GC kit

You pull your shock out. then cut your housing to length with a hack saw. Then you JB weld it back together. cut a hole in the bottom of the housing for the shock to slide down through. Then install back on car. Ive done this maybe 100x already.

Shortening your shocktubes is pretty easy, i wouldnt pay alot of money for something you can do yourself
