Ripple Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your access to and use of the websites of Ripple Labs Inc. and its subsidiaries and associated companies ("Ripple", "we", "us" or "us"), including www.ripple.com (together the "Website"). These Terms do not modify the terms of other agreements you have with Ripple for products, services or otherwise (together "Agreement"). In the event of an objection between an agreement and these conditions, the terms of the agreement shall apply. Kuskowski says Coinfirm signed the deal with Ripple, whose co-founders played a crucial role in the creation of XRP (formerly known as Ripple) two months ago. After several attempts by Forbes, Ripple could not be contacted to confirm the contract. After an early phase of what Kuskowski calls "blockchain deconstruction" to identify the unique characteristics of the settlement system, the company used the same AML procedure it uses for other cryptocurrencies, and after two weeks of data collection, it was able to extrapolate the information needed to evaluate each address. Independent validation nodes agree on the order and validity of XRP transactions. This agreement, called consensus, serves as a final and irreversible settlement. The Ledger reaches a consensus every 3-5 seconds on all pending transactions, after which a new Ledger is issued. Anyone can be a validator, and active validators in the main book today include universities, scholarships and financial institutions. There are currently 36 validators, and Ripple runs 6 – 16% of them.
