  • I <3 my s13 (56k warning)

It's Jomar here, checking in from SoCal. Finally got my car running this month, after 8 months of down time. Took me 7 months to save up rebuild my motor, after it dumped on me sometime last year. I just recently turned 18, and am graduating highschool this week. Highschool budget and all, i've worked hours on end to get my car the way it is. People don't understand that for my first car, i got my dream car. Sure it doesn't look the way i dreamed it would, but it's getting there. In the short time i've had it, i definately am proud of the work i've put into it. I know some people will not always appreciate the choices on how i make my car look, but i'm content with it. And i'm sure as i realize them, things will change. When i look back, i rocked some pretty ricey things. I can only look back and laugh now haha, i still believe my car and my outlook on cars in general have come a longgg way. So **** it or love it, i just thought i'd share because i have fun with it.

Try not to laugh, i know its ugly!

    Once upon a time...

The day i got her. $2100

Ditched the DUBS, and went steelies.

Went with a friend to a Dirty Impreza Meet.

Was known for the towhook toys lol.

    No Homo.

I miss the Juniper Green. ALOT

While the motor was blown, i had the dumbest idea to rattle can my car..
Look how happy i look.. stupid stupid stupid

After this brialliant idea was dry..

    $1700 dollars later

Several all nighters later, judgement day was here.

    As she sits today.

    My on going money pit...

Someday i hope it looks like this... But i'll keep dreamingg

Anyways, like i said. ITS UGLY. But it's mine lol.
    Hope you enjoy'd it.

Stanceworks Feature can be seen here.

I'd like to thank Greg at Millenium Motorsports for taking great care of my motor in a timely maner, Andrew F. from Honeymoon Garage for spending countless hours to drop the motor in, Dylan Leff and Mike Burroughs for the SW feature. And thanks to all my friends and family for all the support they've given me.

    Thanks for looking,
    Jomar Carrasco

lol 1700 dollars on a KA? And you ruined good paint to rattle can it?

      Interesting choice of events.

Would be awesome if it looked like the 2tone coupe...but I think every S13 owner aspires for that. haha

Yea, initial price was $1400 for parts and labor. I realise after reading around a bit, what i paid was a little steep. i also need a new clutch among other things, and replaced everything i could.

OEM Paint, cleaned up good in some sections. The roof and trunk was all oxidised and clear coat was being eaten away, the rear quarter panel looked like it took a grenade because of all the chips. Still wish i didn't rattle can it though. Do i regret it, YES lol.

Interesting indeed, but whats done is done. I **** my paint now haha..
