Hi! Since last year I’m the proud owner of a Mini Cooper 1.6 r53.
The car looked like this when I bought him.
After a few weeks of driving around like that, I got the opportunity of buying a set of Bbb’s (17” 7J), so I did!
Also I stretched a set of 185-35/17’s on it.
I couldn’t wait to fit them!
That wasn’t really what it should be, way too high!
So the mini had to go lower.
A set of AP coils were fitted and so I kept on going lower!
2 weeks went by and so I had my first accident, I slipped and threw the car up a curb..
Immediately I fixed it; new suspension, new rim,…
In the meanwhile I placed some US-modules, Xenon, short antenna and I removed the rear whiper. The rim I smashed on the curb was “limited edition” and wasn’t available anymore from Mini (assholes) so we had to repaint them!
So finally summer arrived. After waiting that long the BBS’s were placed back on the Mini! (16mm spacer in the back).
Since then the Mini only got closer to mother earth, also the request for fotoshoots increased!
Eventually I asked my friend Bart (Beart) if he would like to shoot the Mini! (http://www.facebook.com/beart.be)
Right! Before I forget. My name is Pieter Meynen, born and raised in Belgium, Eindhout. 19 years young and a student. I graduated as a car mechanic but I’m doing one year extra.
For a while there where no updates, I did go to a lot of meetings. Then suddenly the Mini appeared on Speedhunters!
Me so proud!!!
Inbetween I had a shoot with Joery’s Mini (air vs static)
Then there was autumn..
And then winter 2013 began..
Time for updates!
Carbon dash was fitted.
Fixed some BBS rs’s (195/45/17 8J)
Winter stayed for a while so we decided to have some fun with Bart’s camera with this as a result:
A few days later I received a message “Hi Pieter, the Mini’s back on Speedhunters!”
Aaaaaaaaaw yeah!
Some photos..
That was all for now!
