About time i start my own thread for my 1983 Porsche 944. I bought it in mid 2010 and it was converted to a turbo engine by the previous owner.
I drove it for a year or so before i wanted to do some major mods to the suspension. The car had stock NA suspension wich has alot weaker setup (brakes, stiffness etc).
During the autumn in 2011 I started collecting parts for the swap. This included turbo brakes, brake cylinder and valve, coilovers, a-arms, droplinks, swaybars, hubs, spindles, half shafts, polyurethane- and polybronze bushings and all other small bits and pieces i needed for the upgrade.
This is how it looked when i got it. Pretty high!

So i parked it in the garage for the upgrade to begin..

The old setup

Some of the pieces that went on the car

And after some hours of joy..

Time for the rear end. Took everything of, painted it, removed the torsion bar setup and fitted the polybronze bushings with grease nipples

And after some days of sweating it was all in place

Since i already had taken of the rear suspension, i wanted to attach som new fuel lines. Dont regret that!

So this is pretty much of she sits today. Really pleased with the upgrade! For now it is being stored through the winter, but i hope to get in some more pics when the summer arrives
Enjoy!
