  • Primered Lady (CB7) Picture Heavy!

Well this in my 1990 Honda Accord lx, I'm the second owner, her name is the primered lady (pics explain) but she got her name from all of my local buddies.

This is my first car I got it when I was 17 (I'm 19 now) and it's just my little project that I put most of my time and money into. Even though I don't have much money since I am jobless right now it isn't too bad in my eyes. But enough with the story I'll get on with the pics, comments and criticism welcome.

How it was when I bought it:

    What it has gone through:
    Ebay steering wheel

    D.I.Y. mesh grille

    Lots of valve covers:
    stock

    1st change (light blue)

    2nd change (flat black)

Now (sandblasted) I am currently polishing it

Then I got a manual shift knob, a fart can (stock exhaust rusted off), strut bar, tinted the stock tails, and a ton more.

Then I got some coilover sleeves, threw those on the stock struts and rocked them for a while turned all the way down till I did some other mods to get it lower.

Got an ebay catback and sprayed my steelies florescent orange

Did a bunch of little mods to her (black housed headlights, corner lights, painted my door handles and mirrors, got some amber side markers, got it a little lower, and got a c-pillar bar.

Then I got my wheels with 205-60's on so it was monster truckin

    Tire poke!

Then I rolled the fenders and slammed it with the wheels on:

Started tucking my engine bay some:

Acquired a rare oem flushmount spoiler:

Chalk boarded my hood cause the primer was tiger stripped:
So my cousins went crazy on it (one is same age as me and the other is 12)

A couple rolling shots a buddy took for me:

Fast forward some, I got some new tires (195-50-15), koni sp3's for the front and made some 1" extended to hats, then I got some stock replacement struts for the rear and made 3" extended top hats.

    Some interior shots:

Finally how it is sitting now

The piston rings went on the stock f22a1, but since I don't have much money just another f22a1 is going in its place. Then I'll be rebuilding and doing either all motor or boost on the old f22. I haven't decided yet but it will be a while so no worries yet.

It's been off the road since before winter so I've done quite a few little mods.
      I've polished my header:
      Before

      After

I did my interior (door panels, and shift boot), and the rear tophats.

And I've started on a wire tuck:
      before

      during (not done yet)

I'll post more when I am finished with the tuck.

Now here are just some of my favorite picture of the car over the past year or so.

^ That's my buddies car next to it which is stock height.

And this is just a small shoot I did with a point and shoot with the same Accord in the previous pics except now it is lowered in the front. He's eventually going to lower the rear, the slammed bug bit him ever since he's been around me.

My most recent pic of the car and engine bay before she "blew".

I'm thinking about taking the roof rack off for a while but I'll see what you all say about it.

More random pics of my car and of my steering wheel that I forgot to add earlier also my lip stitches... because drift car

Alright that's all for now, sorry for being a picture whore but I love taking pictures of my car.

P.S. Sorry for some of the pics being bad, I didn't have a camera for a while so I had to use a crap cell phone camera.

The primer really cheapens the car up. Even a rust oleum and rollers paint job would clean it up so much. Not hard to do, and fairly cheap.

                      Good luck on the swap.

You're off to a great start man. I used to have a 91 and I miss it like crazy. I don't know if you're on cb7tuner or not, but you may remember it:

I am planing on spraying it gloss smoke gray, it's a rustoleum color. I've had the car primered for so long that I'm keeping it gray.

I so wish I had the money for an H swap of an F20b. It's okay though cause it's just a low and slow beater.

Hahaha, yup finally made a build thread, it was a pain it the ass though cause I pretty much built the thread from another build thread on cb7tuner, it was just so many pictures lol.

Yeah, like I said a couple posts up I'll be spraying her at some point. I have the paint and all I just don't have a gun or a place to do it, I also have other priority's for the car right now. It'll get done eventually.
