  • MGB wheel suggestions!

starting my MGB project i need to pick out some wheels...im toying with modern looking wheels...or maybe some 2 piece old school looking wheels with a big lip...give me some ideas!

i think id prefer 16 rears 15 fronts less than 8" wide esp in front
    offset between 0-+24ish

    help! be reasonable with price

They're 4x114.3 so you could get some seriously cool old jap wheels. I rekon a set of these in the right sizes would be thebestintheworld.jpg though...

        Gotti 150.

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

        Your blast pipes look stupid.

Get ready to spend a lot if you want good wide multipiece 4x114.3 wheels (I am in the same boat, looking for 15x8-10 et0 through -10. Check out Club4ag for some good wheels, also some of the 240 sites have decent stuff.

BOL with the search and yeah I would stay with classic wheels.

upon a little further investigation, i found out the wheels that came with the car are very rare in the mg world...what do you think if the car is lowered + some spacers, can it look good with these or not worth the time cleaning them up?

this is not my car but same style wheel

Or get them widened? Another 2-3 inch lip on them would look good. Agree with Hayden on wire wheels though.

LOL ^ then you'd need some 100mm spacers

They look like the dunlop racing ones/dishy ones so they might be rare. Still 6.5j iirc though.

OP, not sure how much you've looked into it but here are some readily available, cheap (in uk at least) fweels

                          - wolfrace slots

                          - scimitar gte/ dunlop v8

                          - more dunlop splits

I think these are your wheels but maybe banded, with a nice tyre choice
